HT Consulting is an indigenous ICT Consulting, Systems Development and Outsourcing Services company founded by its visionary CEO Harres Tan in 1989. The company, which is part of the HT Group includes HT SoftLab which is the exclusive R&D arm of the group and Rototype International which focuses on specialised self-service solution for the banking industry. Over the past 21 years, the group has successfully provided solutions and services to industry sectors ranging from Government, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Banking and Finance.

Today the group has 8 offices in 6 countries viz. Hong Kong, Singapore, London, New York, Sydney, Penang and Petaling Jaya as well as support centers at its partners’ and customers’ premises in more than 15 countries around the world.  It has staff strength of 250 employees who are largely based at distributors’ and customers’ sites spanning from Asia, Middle East, Western Europe, Africa to the Americas;and is planning to expand further to more than 600 people within the next three years.  It is targeting to list the company within the next 2 to 3 years.

Many of its customers today are well known in their own industry either locally or internationally.  These include government bodies such as SOCSO, KWSP and BNM; healthcare facilities such as HKL, LSC, Pantai Puteri, Mahkota and LWE; manufacturers such as Silterra and Carsem; entertainment giant such as Walt Disney Asia; major banking groups such as Ambank, HSBC, ANZ, Bank of China, Citigroup, Hang Seng, etc.
